UConn Huskies!!
It's like déjà vu all over again!
Dan Hurley and the #1 UConn Huskies absolutely ran through the competition in 2024, winning the championship by margin against a #1 Purdue team that had crushed its competition en route to the title (a nice bounceback for the Boilermakers regardless). Donovan Clingan was dominant at center all tournament, and Tristan Newton wins Most Outstanding Player... but this was ultimately one of the most balanced teams we've ever seen, and they truly ran March Madness.
Connecticut is now 12-0 against the spread in its last two tournaments, 6-0 in title games since 1999, and Dan Hurley is already circling the three-peat. Congrats to the UConn dynasty!
